His picture book offered images of hundreds of every day objects presented in an order of increasing complexity from which the child could learn simple and more complicated concepts. This edition is in the same format as the original but the figures in the illustrations have been updated to reflect contemporary modes of fashion, toys, utensils etc. Featuring 36 chromolithographed plates with nearly 400 objects.
