Illustrated with 8 3/4 page hand-colored woodcuts accompanying text in verse. In this version, Little Red brings her Grandma a pot of butter and cheesecake. It ends: "Then up stairs she went, And was struck with surprise, When she saw his sharp teeth, And his great goggle eyes; She would have cried out, But at her he flew, And tore her to pieces, And ate her up too."
