ABC. (HEBREW) ALEPH BET LEYALDEH PHENIKS (ALPHABET FOR PHOENIX CHILDREN) by Anda Pinkerfeld. Jerusalem: Haoman (?) 1935. 8vo (6 3/4 x 9 1/2"), flexible card covers, light cover soil else VG+. Illustrated by A.K. Henschel with artful full page pen and ink drawings on every other page with text in verse by Pinkerfeld. Some of the pictures have a touch of humor and the illustration for the letter "caf" is a stereotypical African Black figure called Cooshi, the Hebrew slang word for Blacks.
