Illustrated by the author with very beautiful and richly colored pictures on each page - somewhat primitive in style. Moeschlin was born in Sweden but lived and worked in Switzerland. (See Mahoney et al p.156,338). Originally put out in 1929 as one of Coward McCann's 1st publishing efforts, it is an example of "beautiful printing from Europe" (Bader p 30-31).
